Sony NEX-5 now accepts Nikon lenses!
So you want a compact camera. But do not want to compromise on quality. To date your choices have been limited. To get the very best, you need raw, but compacts have very small sensors. To date IMHO the Lumix LX3 was the best. The micro four thirds offered a bigger solution with the most impressive GF1. Now Sony have done one better, they offer a 14Mp high ISO capable APS-C sensor in a very small body. Why is this on any interest to Nikon users? Well the Sony NEX can be fitted with an adaptor that will fit Nikon Lenses!
